Hip Hip Horray!!!

I love it when a day starts like this...with a nice email letting me know there is a new product getting launched TODAY!!!

Even more exciting is that it's probably the best kit I've seen from Stampin' Up! so far!

This is a really great kit for everyone! It's a fabulous dip your toes in the water kit for beginners, but also a great supply source for the more advanced crafters. At £17.95 thats 90p a card and that's before I've mentioned what else you get to keep!!

So in addition to the 20 cards, you get three stamps, a clear block, an ink pad a booklet of designs and any of the embellishments you haven't used!

I can't wait to get my hand on this, you can order yours here.

Hello Somerset...

It's now only three days till I visit For Every Cloud in Langport and I've finally decided on the project I'll be demonstrating!!

It's a great project that shows the versatility of our stamps, alternate ways to use your paper trimmer, two methods of using punches, not to mention our great colours, ink and card!

Here's a sneer peak at the inside too...

I'm really excited to be showing you this, and would love for you to come along on Saturday - details are on the poster below, and there's free parking opposite!

I hope to see many of you on Saturday,

Much love

So grateful

Living in Somerset, the last few months have reminded me how much I have to be grateful of. For those of you unaware, parts of Somerset have been flooded since before Christmas and it continues to be a daily battle for many residents and businesses.

Tonight I'm off to support a local fundraising event for the victims of the floods, many of whom have lots everything. The floods have generally been ignored by the government and major charities but where those who should be helping have failed, the void is being filled by pure generosity of others. I am very proud of how Somerset and our friends have pulled together in this crisis, and for that I am...

Happy Valentines Day

I love Valentines day.....not for all the romance but it's the one day of the year you can focus on those you love the most! I love creating valentines gifts - every single recipient knows how much love, care, effort, time and cost have gone into even the simplest smallest things. This year though, things are a little different...I'm 8500 Miles away from my husband Paul and my two lovely boys, and then there's the eight hour time difference!

Nothing can make up for the fact I'm not at home decorating hearts, making heart shaped jam sandwiches and smothering my boys in hugs and kisses...but I still wanted them to enjoy valentines day. It meant crafting a child safe project! So with a little help and pin-spiration - I came up with these.

Squishy welsh rugby balls :) in "Have a ball this valentines" packaging.

So where is the Stampin' Up! In this? Well, I used our great design software to create this packaging! MDS or My Design Studio is a great package that gives you great opportunities to create on the computer and then print out your projects. You can then leave them as I have here, or continue to craft in the traditional way, using your printed project to create a hybrid project.

MDS is available from the link below either as a free 30 day trial or you can purchase it for only £13.95.

Once you've got the software, you can continue to add digital elements, like stampin' up! stamps and designer series paper or you can use just the elements that came free with the original software like I have with this project! There are also two MDS packages available as free gifts during sale-a-bration and I can't wait to get home to play with the one I choose with my latest order.

So, sorry to those who missed out on valentines gifts this year - I will make up for it next year!! But I do wish you all a happy and love filled valentines 2014. X x x

Buttons buttons...

So I've managed three months as a stampin' Up! Demonstrator and haven't bombarded you with buttons... yet...

So this is what I made Saturday morning!

Stampin' up!'s buttons are just gorgeous, and i don't often (though I am getting better) like using them on things I give away, like cards, incase they end up in the bin. So while I was getting ready for a very important meeting, I realised how I could show off our products subtly and provide a talking point!

Here are two of our designer very vintage buttons (129327) with a little twisted wire and two fish hook earring findings. The buttons come in a pack of 24, in a brilliant storage container for £5.50. There are three designs, all equally beautiful and the perfect accessory for any vintage tea party! You can buy them, and any other Stampin' Up! products online HERE now.

More details about the outcome of the very successful meeting will be coming up soon!
